Fresh Chili’s Copycat Salsa

Ingredients:
- 4-5 medium to large tomatoes, quartered
- 2 small jalapeños, quartered (or 1 medium jalapeño)
- 1 small yellow onion, quartered
- ¼ tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ¼ tsp sugar
- 2 tsp lime juice
- Salt to taste
Directions:
- Place the quartered jalapenos and yellow onion into a blender or food processor.
- Pulse for a few seconds or until finely chopped.
- Add in the remaining ingredients to the blender/food processor then blend for a few more seconds leaving it slightly chunky, not quite a puree.
- Place in a lidded container and store in refrigerator for a couple hours or overnight, if possible.
Suggested Pairings:
Pair with thin cantina style tortilla chips for a true Chili’s experience.
