Diana Kakoma
John joined MGP in June 2025 as a GIS Analyst, bringing a collaborative and data-centered approach to community challenges. He holds a master’s degree in political science from Loyola University Chicago and applies GIS to drive engagement, optimize
municipal services, and support strategic decision-making. Previously, John spent six years with a national non-profit, using innovative GIS analyses and demographic insights to expand youth program access, guide outreach, and identify gaps in service coverage.
Beyond work, he’s curious about the sciences, humanities, and world cultures — and recently hiked Machu Picchu, quickly discovering that alpacas always have the right-of-way.
