Tony Pelikan
Sara received her B.S. in Geography from Illinois State University with a minor in Environmental studies and a GIS certificate. She went on to earn a M.S. in Geography from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. From there, she stayed with Southern Illinois University Edwardsville as a Research Fellow leading teams of students to complete topographic maps for a federally funded contract. In Sara’s free time, she likes to hike at state and national parks, go to farmers markets, and have bonfires with friends. One of her favorite experiences was a storm chasing road trip she took from Illinois to western Texas.
