Rye Bread Hors d’oeuvres

Cook Time - 2 minutes
Prep Time - 5 minutes
Dietary Restrictions - Contains Dairy, Gluten

Ingredients:

  • Rye Bread (cocktail size or cut to 2”)
  • ½ Cup Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 ½ tbsp Cooking Sherry
  • 1 Cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 Dash Worcestershire Sauce

Directions:

  1. Mix cheese, sherry, mayonnaise, Worcestershire
  2. Spread on Rye bread
  3. Place on sheet pan
  4. Broil until brown (about 2 minutes)

Suggested Pairings:

This entrée goes well with mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli

Recipe's Story:

My Granny Betty always made this for everyone on Christmas Eve when I was growing up. Every year around that time, I can’t help but think about playing games as a family with everyone, drinking hot cider, and eating these addictive rye bread hors d’oeuvres
