Ingredients:

  • 2 Cans whole tomatoes, cut into chunks and use juice
  • 2 Cans dark kidney beans
  • 2 Cans small chili flavored beans
  • 2 Cans light red kidney
  • 1-2 Small cans of mushrooms
  • 1 Green pepper sliced
  • ½ Yellow pepper sliced
  • ½ Red pepper sliced
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 ½ lbs. lean ground beef, fried, drained and paper towel dried
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1 Cup of water or 2 Cups of tomato juice
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ¼ to 1 ½ tsp cayenne pepper
  • ½ jar of salsa

Directions:

  1. Brown onions, ground beef and peppers until tender crisp
  2. Dump all ingredients into a crock pot
  3. Crock for 2 hours on high or 4-6 hours on low
  4. Stir occasionally

Suggested Pairings:

Corn bread, Tortilla Chip, or throw some Frito Lays on top of your chili
