Richard started at MGP as a Site Analyst in April 2022. His experience spans from working with local and state government to transportation to utilities infrastructure. He is fascinated by the many aspects that make a city unique. Richard graduated from Morehouse College with a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Planning. He then went on to work at Atlanta City Council, where he specialized in Zoning, Community Development, and Transportation legislation, as well as community outreach. He then worked as a Traffic Engineer with Arcadis and consulted on a variety of transportation related projects in Georgia involving traffic signal timing, design, mapping, analytics, and inventory management. Richard is an outdoors enthusiast with an affinity for hiking, skiing, biking, and urban exploration. Richard is also an avid sports fan, and one of his proudest moments was touring the Camp Nou stadium in Barcelona, Spain. He has also been (and immediately regretted) skydiving.
